Massage shop directory - Thai Massage London

ABOUT THIS DIRECTORY

We want this directory to be a useful resource for shop owners and therapists. Currently the directory covers only Zone 1 of central London. We will extend this in due course as we grow our network. If you would like to add your shop to the directory, or change information about your shop, please contact us.

Please note that for the time being the following massage destinations are EXCLUDED from the directory:
1. "One-therapist" shops, where the name/brand is based on one individual
2. "Outcall" services e.g. Massage Angels, Urban Massage
3. Obvious escort services masquerading as massage
4. Businesses with sexually suggestive names e.g. including "tantric", "ladyboy", "happy ending"
5. Beauty salons with a minor massage business (although we do include beauty salons who do mostly massage)
6. Massage oriented more towards primary health care, e.g. injury recovery, pregnancy or post-natal massage clinics, and those we deem to be closer to physiotherapy clinics

SEXUAL SERVICES

We thought carefully about whether to list which shops are providing these services. Overall we think it is in the best interests of therapists that there is a clear distinction between professional massage, and sexual services using the 'cover' of massage. In the directory we use five categories:
1. "No". This is where we have no evidence of any sexual service being provided, and where we believe a strict policy against it is enforced by the shop
2. "Possibly". This is where we know that sexual services have been provided at the shop, but where that evidence is dated
3. "Probably". This is where we know that sexual services have been recently provided but have no information whether it is frequent or routine
4. "Certainly". This is where we have evidence that sexual services are routinely provided, and so therapists considering working in these shops should expect routine requests from customers for sexual services
